It's Flu Season, Get Your Vaccine!

The Department of New York VFW is hosting a Flu Shot Clinic at the Fall Conference on Saturday October 11, 2025 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Albany Marriott. Please bring your insurance card(s) with you, so your shot will be at no cost to you.

POW/MIA Remembrance Day!

Friday September 19th, is National POW-MIA Remembrance Day. Please take a moment out of your day to remember all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and all those who are still missing and unaccounted for.

Harold M. Burke, Jr.

Past State Commander Harold M. Burke, Jr. passed away on Saturday August 23, 2025. Hal served as the State Commander 2003-2004, he was the Department Quartermaster 2005-2009 and Department Adjutant 2014-2021.

Please help our Service Officers continue to help our veterans by making a monetary prize donation for the Service Officer Raffle. Money raised by the Service Officer Raffle goes directly to support our hard working Service Officers.
